Overview

Arcause by Ethos Foundation is a platform for acknowledging, enlisting, and actualising the Social Responsibilities of Architects, Designers, Engineers, and others associated with the Construction field (ACED Fraternity). Arcause (Our Cause) is positioned to be flexibly interpreted as addressing the cause of the ACED fraternity and also the fraternity supporting a cause. Arcause aims at nurturing sensitivities and actualising the role of initiatives from ACED professionals and students in contributing to societal well-being.

Every year, Arcause proudly presents Arcause Bridge, an initiative that brings our community together to lend support to our future leaders. In alignment with Arcause’s mission, Arcause Bridge Scholarship aims to bridge the gap between students and their aspirations. It’s a tool that helps us move a step closer to make a meaningful impact in the lives of deserving individuals.

Recently, we’ve also prioritised our focus on students facing unique challenges. In 2020, special consideration was given to students who were affected financially due to COVID-19. In addition to supporting persons with disabilities as we did last year, we are aligning with Arcause’s ShramA initiative this year and plan to look out for students connected to the construction field through their families.

While a special consideration will be given to these groups, please note that the scholarship is open to all.

Also, students who have worked on a community-based socially responsible project or have directly contributed to a community by volunteering, teaching, employment, and any other ways will also be preferred. They can showcase these efforts in their portfolio or share relevant links. Our commitment remains strong to helping students overcome financial barriers and pursue their passions.

Pay it forward

Project Bridge also embodies the “Pay-it-forward” philosophy, creating a cycle of community & shared responsibility. As recipients become established and secure, they further support students to fulfill their passion without barriers and spread positivity with the hope of creating a ripple effect of kindness throughout the community.

Who can apply

• Individual application only.
• Students from any year of undergraduate Architecture and Interior Design programs.
• Past winners (must be a Student)

How to apply

1. The applicant should register on the website.
2. Fill the application form.
3. Paste the link of your work (if any) in required sections.
4. A review panel will select the students who would be then awarded this scholarship.
5. The scholarship winners will be announced on our website.

Scholarships this year

The Arcause Bridge Scholarship is largely funded by well-established architects and planners, for budding professionals of the future- a small step of the community, by the community and for the community.
