The Arcause Bridge Scholarship, over the last 15 years, has been bringing together a community committed to empowering the next generation of changemakers. More than financial support, it is a recognition of determination, potential, and purpose. By creating pathways to opportunity, the scholarship helps students navigate challenges, unlock their capabilities, and pursue their aspirations with greater confidence and support. 

Over the years, the scholarship has continually adapted to address the evolving realities faced by students. In 2020, it extended support to those affected by the financial hardships brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023, it prioritised inclusivity by recognising students with diverse abilities and reinforcing the importance of equitable access to education. In 2024, through its alignment with the ShramA initiative, it acknowledged students from families engaged in the informal construction sector, celebrating the contributions of those whose labour shapes our built environment. In 2025, the scholarship focused on empowering students who have navigated significant personal or systemic challenges while exhibiting remarkable determination, resilience, and promise.

In addition to some of the above themes, in 2026, we align the Arcause Bridge Scholarship with all six action areas of Arcause—ADaR (Affordable Design, a Right), BODH (Building on Design Histories), SAaTH (Sustainability in Action and Thought), ShramA (Empowering Construction Workers), Sva-Des (Empowering Communities through Design Literacy), and UDita (Universal Design is the Answer). 

Through this year’s scholarship, we seek to support students who have demonstrated a commitment to one or more of these areas through their actions, initiatives, projects, research, volunteer work, or community engagement activities during their school or college years. We aim to recognise young changemakers whose efforts have created meaningful impact and contributed towards building a more inclusive, equitable, sustainable, and socially responsible future. 

The scholarship remains open to all eligible applicants facing barriers to education and pursuing their studies with determination and purpose. These efforts can be shared through your portfolio or via relevant links.

Pay it forward

Project Bridge also embodies the “Pay-it-forward” philosophy, creating a cycle of community & shared responsibility. As recipients become established and secure, they further support students to fulfill their passion without barriers and spread positivity with the hope of creating a ripple effect of kindness throughout the community.

Who can apply ?

• Individual application only.
• Students from any year of undergraduate Architecture and Interior Design programs.
• Past winners (must be a Student)

How to apply ?

1. The applicant should register on the website.
2. Fill the application form.
3. Paste the link of your work (if any) in required sections.
4. A review panel will select the students who would be then awarded this scholarship.
5. The scholarship winners will be announced on our website.
