It gives us immense pride to share that the School of Architecture, D.Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur is the only autonomous architecture institute in Maharashtra, having been granted autonomous status in 2020. This autonomy has empowered us to tailor our curriculum in alignment with industry requirements, ensuring our students are future-ready.

We believe in the holistic development of our students. Beyond academics, they actively participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. We organize a wide range of enriching engagements such as workshops, seminars, expert talks, industrial visits, and both national and international study tours. Our students benefit from participation in clubs like the Sketching Club, Heritage Club, Photography Club, and Nature Club, and we are proud to be part of the Arcause Clubs of the Ethos Foundation, fostering awareness about India's rich heritage and environment.

The institute also hosts an IGBC Student Chapter and is an Institutional Member of the Indian Plumbing Association, enabling students to stay connected with industry trends and sustainable practices. In addition, MoUs with reputed architectural institutions across India provide valuable platforms for academic exchange and collaborative learning.

The growth and success of the School of Architecture is a result of the visionary leadership of Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil (Dadasaheb). His legacy continues to flourish under the able guidance of President Hon. Dr. Sanjay D. Patil, Vice President Hon. Satej D. Patil, Trustee Hon. Ruturaj S. Patil, Executive Director Dr. A.K. Gupta, Principal Dr. S.D. Chede, Registrar Dr. L.V. Malade, and the dedicated efforts of our faculty and students.
