ShramA Fellowship

LEARNING FROM THE HANDS THAT BUILD

The fellowship program is dedicated to honouring the dignity of construction workers. The selected fellows will engage in a collaborative effort with Team Ethos, focusing on the documentation of two to four distinct topics. Each topic will be demonstrated by construction workers involved in the projects of architecture firms where the selected fellows are currently interning.  This initiative serves to both acknowledge the essential contributions of construction workers and facilitate valuable learning experiences for the architectural interns involved in the program.

Walk for Arcause

Walk for Arcause is designed as a campaign for awareness on the role good design can play in changing lives and to raise awareness on the role of architects in Nation building. We do this by taking thoughtful, empathetic and sustainable design ideas out of the elite circle of discussion to the masses. We focus on the difference architects and designers have made, through their holistic interventions, in different spheres of life. Conversely, this walk is an opportunity to identify action areas through interaction with communities in villages, towns and cities along the way and throw them open for designers to act. The overall intent of Walk for Arcause is to bring the focus on architects in the social realm and on Architectural Social Responsibility.

ADaR Fellowship

Affordable Design is a Right

Arcause will be inviting applications for fellowships to work on projects and solutions that work with and within communities for the larger social good.
It is a unique opportunity for creative individuals, groups of individuals, and/or colleges to step away from conventional design/academic routines and get involved in-depth, in an actual project at the grassroots for a social cause.  This is a chance for selected individuals to rethink and develop their perspectives around the design field and grow professionally as well as individually.
